12-Cup Capacity Food Processor

12-Cup Capacity Food Processor

So you know it does a good job for usual food requirements. The machine itself is very easy to assemble (just make sure you have it the plastic part locked into the base or it will not work). The machine does what you want it to with relative ease, it usually took fewer than six pulses to get the consistency of what I wanted). The additional slicing mechanisms are easily added on top of the base to shred things. It really has a good, fast motor and you get the job done quickly. Another wonderful feature is that the bottom of the base has suction cups so when you are using the machine it does not shimmy across the counter like most of these tend to. The only thing is, make sure where you plonk this thing is where you plan to use it because the suction cups are almost too good and stick to the counter quite well.

I did a variety of experiments with this to see how it stood up to different things and I am happy to say it did a super job. The only real food issue I had with it was the slicer to make french fries makes them short and stubby, probably about the size if you cut a regular pink eraser in half. I tested mushrooms, apples, carrots (makes awesome carrot coins), an onion, celery, nuts and made bread crumbs. I did not try to make dough, which I was told is also a good test of a food processor.
